Scenario Planning BUSINESS

Features

Scenario planning lets you model organizational changes without affecting your live chart. Create multiple "what-if" scenarios, make restructuring changes, and compare them before committing.

Creating a scenario

  1. Open the Scenarios panel from the toolbar
  2. Click New Scenario
  3. Give your scenario a descriptive name (e.g., "Q3 Restructure" or "Engineering Split")
  4. Make changes to the chart — moves, additions, removals
  5. Your changes are saved to the scenario, not to the live chart

Comparing scenarios

Switch between scenarios to see how different restructures would look. Each scenario preserves its own set of changes independently.

Applying a scenario

When you've decided on a restructure, apply the scenario to make it your live chart. You can also discard scenarios you no longer need.

Tip: Use scenarios during reorg discussions to present options to leadership. Export each scenario to PowerPoint for side-by-side comparison in meetings.
Business feature: Scenario Planning is available on the Business plan. View plans
