Troubleshooting

OrgCanvas uses Google Sign-In exclusively. If you're having trouble signing in, try these steps.

Common fixes

1. Check your browser

OrgCanvas works best on modern browsers. Make sure you're using a recent version of:

If you're on an older or unsupported browser, the Google Sign-In button may not appear or may fail silently.

2. Disable ad blockers and privacy extensions

Some browser extensions (ad blockers, privacy tools, script blockers) can interfere with Google's authentication flow. Try:

Stale cookies can sometimes cause sign-in failures:

  1. Clear cookies for app.orgcanvas.app and accounts.google.com
  2. Clear your browser cache
  3. Close and reopen your browser
  4. Try signing in again

4. Check third-party cookies

Google Sign-In requires third-party cookies to be enabled. If your browser blocks them by default (some newer versions of Safari and Firefox do), you'll need to allow them for the sign-in process.

5. Try a different Google account

If you have multiple Google accounts, make sure you're signing in with the correct one. You can also try signing out of all Google accounts first, then signing in with just the one you want to use with OrgCanvas.
