Works with Any Format

OrgCanvas handles messy data gracefully. Different column names ("Manager Name" vs "Reports To" vs "Supervisor"), extra columns, missing fields — the auto-detect handles it all.
Smart Column Detection
You don't need to format your spreadsheet to match a template. OrgCanvas recognizes common column names and their variations:
- Name fields: "Full Name", "Employee Name", "First Name" + "Last Name", "Name"
- Manager fields: "Manager", "Reports To", "Supervisor", "Manager Name", "Manager Email"
- Title fields: "Title", "Job Title", "Position", "Role"
- Department fields: "Department", "Team", "Division", "Group"
If auto-detect doesn't get it right (rare but possible with unusual column names), you can manually map columns in one click.
Keep Your Spreadsheet as the Source of Truth
Many teams keep their employee data in a spreadsheet or HRIS and update it there. That's fine — use OrgCanvas as the visualization layer. When your data changes, re-import the CSV. The whole process takes under a minute.
