OrgCanvas supports multiple export formats so you can use your org charts in presentations, documents, and reports.

Exporting as PNG

PNG export is available on all plans. It creates a high-resolution image of your entire org chart.

  1. Open your org chart
  2. Press Cmd+E (or Ctrl+E on Windows) or click the Export button
  3. Choose PNG
  4. The image downloads to your device

Exporting as PDF PRO

PDF export creates a vector-quality document that looks sharp at any size — perfect for printing or embedding in formal reports.

  1. Open your org chart
  2. Press Cmd+P (or Ctrl+P on Windows)
  3. Choose PDF
  4. The PDF downloads to your device

Using in presentations

OrgCanvas doesn't export directly to PowerPoint, Google Slides, or Keynote format — but PNG exports work perfectly in all of them:

  1. Export your chart as PNG
  2. In your presentation app, insert the PNG as an image
  3. Resize as needed — the high-resolution export ensures it stays crisp
Tip: For very large charts, collapse branches you don't need before exporting. This keeps the exported image focused and readable. See Export Issues if you run into problems.
